DEC Announces Temporary Closure of Cove Road Boat Ramp on Barge Canal
Closure in Effect Sept. 12 for Construction in Town of Verona
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced a temporary closure of the Cove Road Boat Launch at Barge Canal in the town of Verona, Oneida County, to complete final work on the parking area that was left until after the peak use season. The Cove Road Boat Launch site is anticipated to be closed Sept. 12 to 17, and will reopen Sept. 18. Options for alternative Oneida County boat launches can be found on DEC's website.
