DEC Announces Completion of New Accessible Fishing Access Site on the Barge Canal
What: New York State Department of Environmental Conservation representatives and partners will announce the completion of a new boat launch on the Barge Canal at Cove Road in the town of Verona, Oneida County. The newly constructed launch enhances fishing and boating recreational opportunities, connects to Oneida Lake, and provides additional access to the world-class fishing in Oneida Lake for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
When: Friday, June 2, at 11 a.m.
Where: 7054 Cove Road, Durhamville, NY. From Route 49, head south on Vienna Rd, continue straight onto Higginsville Road, turn right onto Cove Road. The Barge Canal at Cove Road launch is on the left.
