DEC Announces Temporary Closure of the Upper Locks in Saranac Lake for Routine Maintenance
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced the temporary closure of the upper locks in Saranac Lake the week of May 1 for routine maintenance.
The upper locks will be closed to all boat traffic from May 2 to 4. Canoes and kayaks can be carried around the locks. The upper locks are located between Middle and Lower Saranac lakes.
