DEC Forest Ranger and Environmental Conservation Police Officer Graduations
What: After completing six-month training academies, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will welcome the newest class joining the ranks of DEC Environmental Conservation Police Officers (ECOs) and Forest Rangers and as they begin careers in the DEC divisions of Law Enforcement and Forest Protection.
The graduating classes will include 38 new Forest Rangers and 18 new ECOs who will be assigned patrol areas and join the ranks of hundreds of Forest Rangers and ECOs currently serving across the state.
