DEC to Hold Significant Climate Funding Announcement
What: New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Basil Seggos, Town of Saugerties Supervisor Fred Costello, and other local partners will make an announcement about millions of dollars in new funding to help municipalities statewide take action to address climate change. Attendees will tour the Kiwanis Ice Arena to highlight an innovative upcoming project that will replace the facility's old freon chiller with new technology that reduces thousands of tons of greenhouse gases.
