DEC Hosts 'National Archery in the Schools Program' State Tournament

What: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will hold the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) state tournament on Friday, March 18. This cooperative effort between state conservation departments, schools, and private organizations helps engage young citizens in outdoor activities, specifically the enduring sport of archery. More details about NASP are available on the DEC website.

Each year a state tournament is open to all schools who participate in NASP. The tournament is the culminating event during which students compete in front of their family, friends, and other students. In addition, top-placing students will have the opportunity to move on and compete in the national tournament.
