DEC Announces Bridge Replacement Project Completed in St. Lawrence County

C.C. Dam Public Forest Access Road, Town of Brasher, Reopened

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced the completion of a bridge replacement project over Redwater Brook on Brasher State Forest, St. Lawrence County. The four-week bridge replacement project removed existing culverts and replaced them with a new engineered bridge.

The C.C. Dam Public Forest Access Road in the town of Brasher, which is used to access Walter Pratt Memorial Park, as well as portions of Brasher State Forest from County Route 55, is now reopened to the public.
