DEC Announces Closure of Public Facilities at Cape Vincent Fisheries Station

High Water Levels Causing Flooding

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced that due to high water levels, the aquarium, fishing access site, and dockage at the Cape Vincent Fisheries Station will be closed to ensure public safety. These facilities traditionally open on Memorial Day weekend but will remain closed until further notice. The picnic area will remain open and visitors are advised to use caution and remain a safe distance away from boat docking areas. For more information, visit the Public Facilities at Cape Vincent Fisheries Station webpage.
