DEC Aquarium at Cape Vincent Fisheries Station Closed for Renovations

Renovations Underway Following 2017 Flood Damage

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) announced today that the public aquarium at DEC's Cape Vincent fisheries station will remain closed until further notice. Renovations are currently underway and the aquarium is expected to re-open in summer 2018. The aquarium was damaged by 2017 flooding on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Aquarium facilities, including the fishing access site, picnic area, gazebo, overnight vessel dockage, and shower/bathroom facilities will remain open.
