Annual Day Use Pass to DEC Campgrounds and State Parks
Your key to all-season enjoyment at New York State campgrounds is the Empire Pass. The pass provides unlimited day use vehicle entry to most DEC forest preserve areas, boat launch sites, arboretums and park preserves as well as most parks administered by NYS Parks. All for just $80!
Enjoy the beaches, the picnic areas, scenic highways and the lakes in the Adirondacks and Catskills every day if you like, throughout the spring, summer and fall. Swim, hike, picnic, fish, and bring as many friends as your car holds! Its all covered by the Empire Pass.
Available for only $80, the pass can be used until December 31st of each year and will pay for itself in about 7 visits. This may be used for passenger vehicle, boat, or motorcycle entry.
Passes can be purchased over the phone with your credit card by calling (518) 474-0458. In addition, Empire Passes can be purchased and renewed online (leaves DEC website).
