Access:
Within DEC Eagle Point Campground- Off Route 9, two miles north of the Hamlet of Pottersville. This is a hard surface ramp. There is a day use fee charged during peak season. This access is available only when the campground is operating. Parking for 4 cars.
Horicon- Off Route 9, just north of Pottersville, on County Route 62. This is a hard surface ramp and has parking for 45 cars and trailers. This site is accessible for persons with disabilities.

Schroon Lake- Located off Dock Street in the town of Schroon Lake. This is a hard surface ramp and has parking for 15 cars and trailers.

Lake Trout, Landlocked Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Smelt, Northern Pike, Black Crappie, Brown Bullhead, Rock Bass, Pumpkinseed, and Yellow Perch.
Fishing:
Schroon Lake supports a diverse fishery. Salmon and lake trout are popular among anglers during ice fishing. The lake also provides excellent angling opportunities for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, northern pike, and yellow perch.
