Access:

DEC hand launch site off Long Pond Road, 4 miles northeast of the Village of Croghan. Site provided via FWMA agreement with private landowners. No motors.

Fish Species:

Brook Trout, Brown Bullhead, Golden Shiner

Fishing:

Brook trout can be targeted in the early season along the shoreline by casting various small spinners and spoons towards cover near shore. During mid to late summer, fish the thermocline, which averages about 15-20 feet in depth. Weighted line and slow trolling would be recommended for warm weather angling.
