Stockport Flats
Stockport and Stuyvesant, Columbia County
Part of the Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve, Stockport Flats is a five-mile, narrow mosaic of landforms dominated by freshwater tidal wetlands, mudflats, marshes and swamps. Nutten Hook at Stockport features the remains of the largest icehouse on the Hudson, which is listed on the national and state historic registers.
