DEC Wildlife Management Areas provide habitat for wildlfe and recreational opportunities for people. Habitat is provided for birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Waterfowl, fish, game species, and non-game species all benefit from the forests, open fields, streams, ponds, and wetlands located in these areas. People who want to hunt, fish, hike, or watch wildlife are welcome to enjoy these areas.

Each wildlife management area is unique in the habitat and species present, DEC management and often the types of recreational activities allowed. Use the links below to learn more about each wildlife management area and to view maps of each.
