Download the New York State Boat Launching Sites (PDF) publication, which provides a directory of boating ramps and launches statewide. Other helpful information on launching and retrieving your boat and preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species is included.

Hard copies of the directory are also available at DEC Regional Offices or by sending an email to fwfish@dec.ny.gov to request a copy.

Boarding Dock Installation and Removal Schedule

Before heading out, boaters should contact DEC's Regional Operations Offices for the most current schedule of when docks at DEC boat launches will be installed or removed each year. Typically, docks are installed by late May and removed in the fall after Columbus Day; however, the schedule can change based on water levels, weather, and ice conditions.
