Glenmere Lake

Glenmere Lake, located in the Village of Florida, is a shallow weedy lake that provides anglers with some shore access but is perfect for a small rowboat or canoe.

Physical Features:

Elevation: 531 feet
Area: 309 acres
Shoreline Length: 4.3 miles

Access:

Provided by Village of Florida located along northern shoreline. No gas motors allowed.

Fish Species:

Largemouth Bass, Chain Pickerel, Black Crappie, Yellow Perch, Bluegill and Brown Bullhead

Fishing:

The best baits for largemouth bass are spinnerbaits, plastic worms and weedless topwater baits. Small micro jigs and nightcrawlers work great for the panfish.
