Watchable Wildlife Logo

Green Lakes State Park's outstanding features are its two glacial lakes, each of which is nearly 200 feet deep. These blue-green lakes are surrounded by old-growth forest of enormous hemlocks and tulip trees. Green Lake has a popular beach, an 18-hole golf course, campsites and cabins and a nature center. Round Lake is a registered National Natural Landmark, where visitors can snowshoe or cross-country ski on miles of trails. Various wildlife make Green Lakes State Park their home and can best be observed from the hiking and ski trails.
