Round Lake

Round Lake, located in the town of Monroe, is stocked with 1,000 Brown Trout every spring. Look for Largemouth Bass and Bluegills in the shallow weed beds during the summer and fall months.

Elevation: 669 feet
Area: 97 acres
Shoreline Length: 1.8 miles
Maximum Depth: 22 feet
Town: Monroe

Access:

There is a town owned boat launch site located off of Rt. 5 on the east shore of Round Lake. No gas motors allowed.

Fish Species:

Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, Brown Bullhead, Crappie, Bluegill and Pumpkinseed sunfish.

Fishing:

For Largemouth Bass, try throwing topwater frogs along the lily pads and texas rigged worms along the weed edges.
