Stillwater pond is ideal for the angler fishing from a canoe or kayak.

Access:

Hand launch is provided by Clarence Fahnestock State Park. Off the Taconic Parkway, southbound, 1 mile south of Route 301. Parking for 10 cars. Electric Motors Only. Permit required, available from park manager.

Fishing:

Stillwater Pond is stocked every spring with 970 Rainbow Trout and 930 Brown Trout. In this clear water pond, anglers have success trolling with small metal spoons and in-line spinners.
