White Pond

Note: Limited Access During Dam Repair The public will not be allowed to access the southern or eastern shore of the property, the dam, the accessible fishing pier, and the asphalt walkway until repair work on the dam is completed. The estimated completion date is November, 2016.

White Pond is a great location to fish from shore or a small boat. Shore fisherman have multiple places to fish along the bank, and an accessible fishing pier is available.

DEC Universal access site is located off of Route 301 on Farmers Mill Rd (County Route 42) to White Pond Road. Gravel launch with parking for 10 cars and trailers. Electric motors only. Accessible fishing pier available.

Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Chain Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Rock Bass, Brown Bullhead and Sunfish

Anglers report having success catching largemouth bass using senko style baits and topwater frogs. Panfish are abundant and can be taken on a small minnow or nightcrawler. White Pond is also a popular ice fishing location which can provide a great way to spend time with friends and family.
