Firewood Restriction Area Maps

Invasive pests and diseases, which can kill trees and destroy the forests we love, are easily transported in firewood. A firewood transport regulation is in place to protect New York's forests from the spread of invasive insects and diseases. It is illegal to transport untreated firewood more than 50 miles from its source within New York State. It is also illegal to bring untreated firewood into New York State. The maps in the following list show a 50-mile radius around each DEC campground. Individual maps can be found at each campground's information page.
