Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary
Stanfordville, Dutchess County

Spy up to 80 species of birds as you explore old farm fields and other diverse habitats. Easily accessible old railroad beds on the sanctuary's west side follow Wappinger Creek where riparian plants and waterbirds can be seen. A scenic overlook gives visitors a commanding view of Stissing Mountain and the valley below.
