Fishing:

The water clarity in Stissing Pond is usually clear. Anglers targeting largemouth bass have the best success using green pumpkin Senkos and Powerbait worms fished in the shallow water in the mornings and evenings. During the day the bass tend to migrate out to the deeper weeds. Try using a deep diving crankbait or weedless jig in 10-15' of water. Yellow perch and bluegills can also offer some exciting action. Try using a small jig tipped with a minnow or night crawler.
