Iron Mine Pond

Iron Mine Pond is located in Taconic State Park south of Rudd Pond, north of the town of Millerton. This small pond is great for those that want to get away from the crowds and fish along the shoreline.

Surface Area: 5 acres
Max Depth: 70 feet
Mean Depth: 65 feet

Fishing:

The DEC stocks 200 rainbow trout in Iron Mine Pond every spring. Anglers also report of catching largemouth bass and panfish.
