Kiosk Survey on DEC Managed Lands

A kiosk sign located along a trail.
We Need Your Opinion!
Do you visit state lands such as State Forests, wilderness areas, Wildlife Management Areas, campgrounds, or DEC boat launches? We want to hear what you think about the places you love to visit! When out at one of DEC's properties, take our survey (leaves DEC website) and let us know your opinion.
Your opinion matters to us - with your input about the properties you love and the information we provide about them at kiosks and trailheads, we can improve our signage at trailheads, boat launches, and more so you get the information you want to see!
If you have general input on what you would like to see on all kiosks, let us know by emailing us at mailto:public@dec.ny.gov?subject=Kiosk Feedback with "Kiosk Feedback" in the subject line.
Survey Rules
- When you visit a state property and see a kiosk, fill out the kiosk survey (leaves DEC website).
- You may see a QR code on a poster located at the kiosk itself. Simply scan it with your smart phone's camera and open the survey link.
- You can submit multiple surveys per month, but please submit only one response per kiosk location.
- The survey will remain open from January 1, 2023, to January 1, 2024.
- We're looking for information on DEC properties, not state park properties that are managed by the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Find a full list of DEC-managed properties here.
