Cedarlands Conservation Easement - RMP

The Cedarlands Conservation Easement is comprised of 4,890 acres located in the Town of Long Lake, Hamilton County. The central features of the area are two water bodies, Mud Pond and McRorie Lake (previously known as Rock Pond). There are also two prominent mountains, Rock Pond Mountain and Mud Pond Mountain. The lands are privately owned by the Boy Scouts of America.

Status of the RMP

The Department adopted a recreation management plan (RMP) for the Cedarlands Conservation Easement in 2019. If you have questions about the RMP, please contact us at r5.ump@dec.ny.gov.
