No new development is proposed on Lot 3 or Lot 4.

Project Description: The project involves the amendment of Adirondack Park Agency Permit 2005-149 to extend the previously-authorized operating term for an additional six years at an existing commercial sand and gravel extraction, mineral extraction and industrial use site. No expansion of the life-of-mine boundary is proposed. The project includes the construction of three replacement hot mix asphalt silos and three new hot mix asphalt silos. The silos will each have an overall height of 72 feet 8 inches above grade.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Town of Halfmoon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Egg Laying Chicken Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the approval of an amendment to the Town Code to allow a maximum of six (6) egg-laying chickens on residential-used properties between 20,000 square foot and 79,999 square foot in area. Minimum standards are included to help ensure proper care/shelter for the animals while protecting the residential characteristic of the neighborhoods in which they are located. This amendment applies town-wide in all zoning districts.. The project is located throughout the Town of Halfmoon, New York.

Saratoga County - The Town of Halfmoon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dawson Senior Center Planned Development District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the approval of an amendment to the Town Code to create the Dawson Senior Center Planned Development District (PDD) located at the southeast corner of Pruyn Hill Road and Farm to Market Road in the Town of Halfmoon, New York. The PDD encompasses approximately 23.51 acres and allows construction of a 124 unit senior apartment building and 17, two unit townhomes for a total of 34 units. This will also require a future 19 lot subdivision with 17 lots for the twin homes, one lot for the apartment building and one lot for a stormwater management area. The project would be serviced by Town of Halfmoon water and Saratoga County Sewer District No. 1 for sanitary sewer. Stormwater would be managed on-site pursuant to New York State and Town of Halfmoon regulations and requirements.

Saratoga County - The Town of Clifton Park Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Van Patten Drive 20 Lot Residential Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to subdivide the 31.67 acre parcel into 20 single family building lots. There are 19 acres of Federal wetlands on-site which the applicant proposes not to disturb. Water and sewer will be serviced by public utilities. The project is located adjacent to Van Patten Drive in the Town of Clifton Park, New York.
