Negative Declaration
Columbia County - The Town of Copake Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law to Enact a Six Month Moratorium on Major Subdivisions will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the enactment of a temporary, six-month moratorium on new applications for "major subdivisions",subdivisions that create five or more new parcels, to allow the Town to consider revisions to the Town's subdivision law in light of escalating real property values and concerns for affordable housing in the Town. The project is located throughout the Town of Copake, New York.
