The action involves the cutting and removal of approximately 30 trees to install an updated electric service line between the existing transformer and pole which serve the existing maintenance garage.

Project Description: The action involves the replacement and re-location of 10 poles along a 0.61 mile section of an existing overhead utility line (Line 890) within the New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) highway right-of-way of NYS Route 28. The NYS DOT highway right-of-way has been expanded in this location through use of the Highway Land Bank to facilitate pending highway reconstruction. The proposed replacement structures will have a height above grade between 60 and 84 foot. The project is located adjacent to, and over, the south inlet to Raquette Lake. The 10 poles need to be re-located prior to replacement of the Route 28 bridge over the south inlet proposed by NYS DOT.
Negative Declaration
Saratoga County - The Town of Halfmoon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Crescent Commons Planned Development District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the approval of the Crescent Commons Planned Development District to allow the addition of 60 residential apartments, approximately 9,400 square foot of additional retail/commercial space, associated parking, stormwater management, and pedestrian accommodations.. The project is located at 1471-1475 Route 9, 3 NYS Route 236, 19 and 21 Plank Road, and Circle Lane in the Town of Halfmoon, New York.
