Sullivan County - The Town of Tusten Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to the zoning law and map - the addition of parcels to the RB and DB Districts; changes to the Schedule of District Uses; several adjustments to improve environmental protection (forest disturbance thresholds, stormwater runoff requirements, and landscaping practices); flexible parking provisions; and revisions to the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) language to improve consistency with state statutes. Additions to the law include a section on Application and Review Fees and a new Scenic Camping use. The project is located throughout the Town of Tusten, New York.
