Negative Declaration
Cayuga County - The Cayuga County Water and Sewer Authority (CCWSA), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cayuga County Regional Water District Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves eleven phased improvement projects throughout Cayuga County. Projects include improvements to existing spine segments, creating new spine segments, construction of pump stations, construction of new water lines, construction of an elevated water storage tank, and construction of a new water treatment plants. The project is located at various locations in Cayuga County, New York.

Oswego County - The Town of Scriba Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Novelis Corporation - Hot Mill Expansion and Site Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Novelis Corporation operates a secondary aluminum processing facility on approximately 509 acres, which has been in operation on the site since the early 1960's. The proposed project consists of the modification of existing aluminum production equipment; and the installation of three new annealing furnaces within the addition. All building additions will be constructed within the existing property fence-line or on previously disturbed land. Site Improvement Projects include an expansion to the Remelt mold shop and replacement and expansion of existing parking lot areas. Finally, a portion of the new building will be affixed with approximately 10,000 square foot of photovoltaic solar arrays to be utilized by Novelis for on-site operations. The project is located at 448 County Route 1A in the Town of Scriba, New York.
