Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mather Hospital Northwell Health Emergency Department and Surgical Services Expansion Master Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal for the construction over four phases that includes a 48,950 square foot expansion and renovation at Mather Hospital Northwell Health and several site improvements. Per VPJ Code §250-17A(2), the Mather Hospital campus is a permitted use in the Professional Office P-O District, located on a 38.77 acre parcel comprised of two adjoining lots on the northeastern corner of North Country Road and Belle Terre Road. The work includes an emergency department relocation and expansion and surgical services expansion and renovation, heliport relocation, installation of traffic signal and crosswalk, new sidewalk along the site's perimeter, expanded surface parking, redesign and implementation of existing Drainage Recharge Area, installation of subsurface stormwater management system, landscaping, expansion and interior renovations to main lobby and drop-off area. The project is located at 75 North Country Road in the Village of Port Jefferson, New York.

Notice of Availability of Final Scope

Suffolk County - The Town of Riverhead Planning Board, as lead agency, has made the Final Scope for the proposed Calverton Industrial Subdivision (OSTAD) available. The Final Scope is available from the contact listed below and on line at: https://www.townofriverheadny.gov/pview.aspx?id=2482&catid=118.

The action involves a major industrial subdivision application proposing to subdivide approximately 130.9 acres of industrially zoned land within the Hamlet of Calverton, Town of Riverhead, to allow for future industrial development. The subject parcels are within the Industrial A zoning use district. Initial development of the property would consist of construction of internal roadway systems, installation of stormwater management systems, and construction of a sewage treatment facility to handle sanitary wastewater. The project will require an extension of the Riverhead Water District, as well as several other Town, County, and State approvals. The project is located at 3511 Middle Country Road in Calverton, Town of Riverhead, New York.
