Project Description:
The applicant proposes to modify their existing SPDES permit by extending the due dates of the following items in the Schedule of Compliance:
- Commence construction for the Rapid Sand Filter Upgrades (Total Suspended Solids.) Revise from May 1, 2020 to March 15, 2022,
- Commence construction for the Disinfection Treatment Units (Fecal Coliform Total Residual Chlorine.) Revise from May 1, 2020 to March 15, 2022,
- Complete and commence operation of the Rapid Sand Filters. Revise from May 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023, and
- Complete and commence operation of the Disinfection Treatment Units. Revise from May 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023.
Additionally, the Total Residual Chlorine limits have been changed to comply with federal regulations.

Project Description:
The Town of Sodus is proposing to rehabilitate an existing masonry arch bridge over Salmon Creek that is structurally deficient by resetting stones and tuck pointing. Other proposed work includes the installation of a cross vein, heavy stone fill at the bridge inlet and outlet, and reshaping of the existing channel. A portion of the project area is within the regulated 100-foot adjacent area of State Freshwater Wetland SO-18, which will result in the disturbance of 0.008 acres and 1,656 cubic feet of fill in the wetland adjacent area.
