Negative Declaration
Allegany County - The Town of Alfred Alfred Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NY Alfred I, LLC - 5568 Jericho Hill Road Solar Farm Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of one 5 megawatt AC ground-mounted community solar farm and associated electrical appurtenances. The proposed solar photovoltaic (PV) system would be installed on a 30.9 acre combination of what is currently forested and agricultural land on a 162.10 acre parcel. The proposed solar array will involve the installation of ground mounted single axis tracker photovoltaic panels as well as associated access road, electric utility upgrades, power inverters and perimeter fencing with existing vegetation utilized for landscape screening. The project is located at 5568 Jericho Hill Road in the Town of Alfred, New York.
