Notice of Availability for Public Comment - New York State Draft 2020-2022 Clean Water Act § 303(d) List of Impaired Waters

This notice announces the availability of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's (NYS DEC) Draft 2020-2022 Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 303(d) List of Impaired/Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Waters. This list identifies waters which do not meet applicable water quality standards and do not support applicable best uses, thereby requiring a TMDL. The 30 day public comment period commences on December 29, 2021. Comments will be accepted through January 28, 2022.

Pursuant to Title 9, Article 54 of the Environmental Conservation Law, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP) hereby gives public notice of the following:

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 49-0305 (9) of the Environmental Conservation Law, of the NYS OPRHP's intent to acquire a Conservation Easement from the following: Adirondack Mountain Club, Inc. over certain lands located along Route 73 between Keene Valley and Lake Placid, in the Town of North Elba, County of Essex and State of New York; Western New York Land Conservancy, Inc., over certain lands located at Allegany Wildlands, in the Town of South Valley, County of Cattaraugus and State of New York.

Draft Amendment No. 3 to the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 Intended Use Plan

FFY 2022 DWSRF Intended Use Plan Amendment:

DWSRF No. 18239: Town of Greenville, Greene County. The project cost as listed in the DWSRF Intended Use Plan (IUP) is increased to a total project cost of $1,400,000 due to higher than expected construction costs.

Public Review and Comment on Draft Amendment No. 3

The New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) will accept comments on Amendment No. 3 to the FFY 2022 DWSRF IUP by email until 5:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday January 12, 2022.
