Negative Declaration

Lewis County - The Village of Constableville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wastewater Treatment Facility Study and Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Village of Constableville currently utilizes the 1986 constructed Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) for treatment of village-wide sanitary sewer. Nothing has been done except routine maintenance since constructed. The Village received a letter notifying modification to their SPDES permit February 28, 2019 that included disinfection requirements. The WWTF must implement seasonal disinfection by 5/1/2024. Along with the need for disinfection, the laboratory building roof is aging and rusting, the tankage catwalk is degrading and requires repair, along with tankage hatches and lids. The project is located at the WWTF n the Village of Constableville, New York.

Oneida County - The City of Rome Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Delta Community Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of an existing 41.2 acre parcel into a maximum of 69 parcels to be developed for residential use across two or more phases. The project location is directly south of 7801 Merrick Road in the City of Rome, New York.

Oneida County - The City of Rome Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Woodhaven Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of two parcels totaling 93.26 acres and formally occupied by Griffiss Air Force Base airmen housing into a maximum of 250 lots to be redeveloped for residential use across five phases. The project is bounded by Floyd Avenue and transected by Park Drive in the City of Rome, New York.

Oneida County - The Town of Deerfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cristiano Solar Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a Site Plan approval and Special Use permit for a 5MV ground mounted passive solar energy generating facility which will be comprised of approximately 30 acres of uniformly spaced static solar panels. The project is located at 7439 State Route 8 in the Town of Deerfield, New York.
