Washington County - The Village of Hudson Falls, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Nomination will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the preparation and adoption of a Brownfield Opportunity Area Nomination Study (Downtown Revitalization Plan). The Brownfield Opportunity (BOA) program provides the resources to plan for the revitalization of brownfield sites and vacant and underutilized properties in the Village of Hudson Falls. The plan was prepared with oversight and guidance from the New York State Department of State (NYS DOS) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), and includes detailed analysis of strategic sites within the BOA study area. With the adoption of the BOA nomination the Village will be able to apply for a BOA designation and become eligible for funding to implement the identified vision, goals, and objectives of the plan. The project is located throughout the Village of Hudson Falls, New York.
