Project Description:

Taconic Shores Property Owners Association (TSPOA) proposed to use a WeeDoo Harvester to manage and maintain vegetation within an approximate 1.24 acre northeastern bay of Robinson Pond and NYS Regulated Freshwater Wetland CO-3, a Class 1 wetland. The project proposes to remove invasive emergent vegetation to maintain and restore a navigational route for the recreational purposes of boating and fishing. The project is located within the Town of Copake, Columbia County.

The project proposes to eliminate non-native vegetation, maintain recreational areas, and maintain a 25% vegetation cover within the 7.1 acre portion. Project Description:

The Department has prepared a draft permit and made a tentative determination, subject to public comment or other information, to issue a renewal of the Title V operating permit for the Keymark Corporation Plant located in the Town of Fonda. Keymark is a manufacturer of extruded aluminum products. Facility operations include an aluminum melting and homogenizing furnace, one surface coating line, an anodizing line, and other miscellaneous emission sources. This renewal includes the removal of Paint Line 2 (Emission Units U-00034, U-30001, and U-30002). Three changes that were made via the facility's operational flexibility protocol are also included. They are: the replacement of the die cleaning system (U-00027), the addition of a static stack for emission units U-00016 and U-00017, and the installation of a sow preheater (emission unit U-00005). There are no other changes proposed to the existing operations at the facility.

In accordance with 6NYCRR Parts 621.7(b)(9) and 201-6.3(c), the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has the authority to bar issuance of any Title V Facility Permit if it is determined not to be in compliance with applicable requirements of the Clean Air Act or 6 NYCRR Part 201.

Persons wishing to inspect the subject Title V files, including the application with all relevant supporting materials, the draft permit, and all other materials available to the DEC (the "permitting authority") that are relevant to this permitting decision should contact the DEC representative listed below. DEC will evaluate the application and the comments received on it to determine whether to hold a public hearing.
