Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Elba Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NY CDG Genesee 1 LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction and operation of a 5 megawatt (AC) ground-mounted solar photovoltaic array on approximately 28 acres of agricultural land on a 55.8 acre parcel. The installation will include associated electrical equipment, a gravel access road, concrete pads for equipment, fencing, and landscaping. The Project activities will be located within an existing agricultural field, adjacent to roadways, other agricultural fields, residences and forested areas. The project is located at 7209 Oak Orchard Road in the Town of Elba, New York.

Orleans County - The Town of Barre Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Baird Solar Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 4.5 megawatt AC single axis tracking solar photovoltaic project on 25 acres of agricultural and forested land. The project will tap directly into the 13.2 kilovolt distribution line on the property and will provide power to customers through a community solar arrangement. The project is located at 4360 Oak Orchard Road in the Town of Barre, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Steuben County - Steuben County, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Steuben County Bath Landfill Proposed Eastern Expansion. The Final SEIS is available from the Steuben County Department of Public Works Office; the Dormann Library; the Corning Department of Motor Vehicles; the Hornell Department of Motor Vehicles and on line at: www.steubencony.org.

The action involves an expansion of the Permitted Footprint and associated support facilities. Overall the Proposed Eastern Expansion is expected to include 70.9 acres of additional double composite lined landfill directly east and south of the Permitted Footprint, 23.4 acres of overlay on the Permitted Footprint, and approximately 62 acres of disturbance associated with additional support facilities for operation of the Proposed Eastern Expansion including stormwater management features, access roads, landfill berms, soil stockpiles, leachate storage tanks, LFG collection and control infrastructure, leachate collection and conveyance infrastructure, and other appurtenances. The Proposed Action will be located on the 564 acres currently owned by Steuben County. The project is located in the Town of Bath, New York.
