Project Description:

The applicant proposes to repair or replace a section of an existing petroleum pipeline. The proposed project will result in 13,620 SF of temporary disturbance to a federally regulated wetland. The proposed project will not involve any disturbance to NYSDEC regulated Freshwater Wetlands or their associated Adjacent Areas. Once the repairs and/or replacements are complete, the project area will be restored to its previous condition. The project site is located approximately 420 feet northwest of Sweetland Rd, northeast of the intersection with Covell Rd and west of the intersection with Bater Rd. The project is located in the town of Stafford in Genesee County.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The applicant is proposing the dredging of the federal navigational channel located in Pultneyville New York. The federal navigation channel at Pultneyville Harbor is a dredge sites identified under an initial phase of the Regional Dredging Project through the Resilience and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) program. Up to 3,150 cubic yards of material will be mechanically dredged from approximately 1.1-acre of the federal navigation channel at Pultneyville Harbor to an approximate elevation of 237.3 feet (IGLD85). The material will be placed in scows or similar for transportation to the USACE Great Sodus Bay Open Lake Placement Site located approximately 11 miles from the dredge site.
