Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Poughkeepsie Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Vassar College Institute for the Liberal Arts will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application dated March 22, 2019 submitted by Vassar College to the Town of Poughkeepsie Planning Board for site plan, architectural and aquatic resources permit approvals and a zoning text amendment recommendation to the Town Board, to permit the construction of a 2 story conference center (195 ± seats), with an associated 3 story hotel of 50 rooms and restaurant with outdoor dining (120 ± seats), for a total of 48,142 square foot of building area. Other proposed changes to the site include parking and pedestrian improvements, demolition of the existing Williams Hall (3 buildings) and a single-family residence, and road access from College Avenue. The project is located at 157-171 College Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie, New York.

Rockland County - The Village of Montebello Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 84 Viola Road LLC, Community Place of Worship will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant for the construction of a 28,800 square foot, two-story Community Place of Worship, with a 144 space parking lot. The maximum seating capacity of the main sanctuary on the upper level is 422 (ratio of 1 parking space for every 2.96 seats). The lower level houses a large multi-purpose room with a capacity of 520 seats. The multi-purpose room will be ancillary to the community place of worship. The sanctuary and multi-purpose room will not be in use at the same time. Other uses within the building will include a minyan room, mikvah, kitchen, classrooms, restrooms, utility, and storage spaces. The plan calls for preservation of the Historic Johnson Farmhouse and removal of all other existing structures. The project is located at 84 Viola Road in the Village of Montebello, New York.

Ulster County - The Town of Lloyd Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Villages in the Hudson Valley will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed 135 bed Assisted Living Facility (Phase 1) with Adult Day Care Center and a Conceptual Planned Residential Retirement Development (Phase 2). The project is located at the intersection of NYS Route 9W and Mayer Drive in the Town of Lloyd, New York.

Notice of Availability of Final Scope

Orange County - The Town of Goshen Planning Board, as lead agency, has made the Final Scope for the proposed RDM Route 17M Warehouse available. The Final Scope is available from the contact listed below and on line at: www.townofgoshen.org.

The action involves a proposal by the applicant, ROM Route 17M (a/k/a 2602 Rt 17 Developers, LLC), for a 300,00 square foot warehouse facility, 151 parking stalls, 72 truck loading docks and 31 trailer storage spaces on a parcel located with frontage along NYS Route 17M with the Town of Goshen. The property contains 61.59 ± acres, and is located within the Commercial/Office Mixed-Use (CO) district, and within the Flood Plain and Ponding Area and AQ-6 Overlay Districts. The project is located at 2602 Route 17M in the Town of Goshen, New York.
