Project Description:

The applicant proposes the rehabilitation of the Glenmore Rd. bridge over Furnace Creek. Rehabilitation activities at the site may include the refacing of concrete wingwalls and headwalls, stabilizing embankment slopes, reinforcing embankment toe of slope with stone fill, and protecting the structure from scour with stone fill keyed into the stream bedrock. Fill below the Ordinary High Water (OHW) will include heavy stone fill, light stone fill, bedding material, concrete, and temporary waterway diversion structures totaling 294 CY in 0.0581 acre. Excavation below OHW will total 259.4 CY in 0.0467 acre of Furnace Creek. Excavated material will be disposed of properly at an off-site location.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes the rehabilitation of the Carmichael Hill Rd. bridge over Big Brook. Rehabilitation activities at this site may include the refacing of concrete wingwalls and headwalls, stabilizing embankment slopes, reinforcing embankment toe of slope with stone fill, addressing the undermined footings with grout or concrete fill in scour pockets, encasing abutments and increasing the height of abutments to address scour and undermining, and protecting the structure from scour with stone fill keyed into the stream bedrock. Fill below the Ordinary High Water (OHW) will include heavy stone fill, light stone fill, bedding material, concrete, and temporary waterway diversion structures totaling 296.5 CY in 0.0605 acre of Big Brook. Excavation below OHW will total 226.1 CY in 0.0427 acre of Big Brook at the Carmichael Hill Road Site. Excavated material will be disposed of properly at an off-site location.
