Negative Declaration

Oneida County - The Village of Sylvan Beach, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Marina Drive-Birch Lane Sewer System Upgrade Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of 3,000 linear foot of gravity sewer on Marina Drive, Miller's Village, Willow Point and Birch Lane; upgrade of the Marina Drive sewage lift station; and sealing of joints and cracks in sewers and manholes in selected locations throughout the Village of Sylvan Beach. The project is located in the Village of Sylvan Beach in the Towns of Sullivan, Lenox, Verona and Vienna, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS

Herkimer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hinckley Reservoir Intensive Use Area (IUA) Unit Management Plan (UMP). The Final GEIS is available from the contact listed below and on line at:

The action involves the approval of a UMP for the Hinckley Reservoir Intensive Use Area. The UMP proposes to construct a 150 site public campground with associated infrastructure, utilities, and recreational amenities. The project is located at 281 Stormy Hill Road in Cold Brook, New York.
