Negative Declaration
Delaware County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Shursky Properties, LLC, Gee Brook Quarry will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to operate a 10.5 are life-of-mine b!uestone mine which will entail drilling, blasting, sawing, and hammering. Processing and cutting water will be completely closed looped. Concurrent reclamation will return the area to meadow and grassland. The project is located on Gee Brook Road in the Town of Hancock, New York.
