Public Notice

Acquisition of Conservation Easements Lands

Pursuant to Title 3, Article 49 of the Environmental Conservation Law, the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) hereby gives public notice of the following:

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 49-0305 (9) of the Environmental Conservation Law, of NYS DEC's intent to acquire a Conservation Easement over lands known as Cranberry Forest. This property is located within the Towns of Clifton and Colton, St. Lawrence County, New York.

Negative Declaration

Oneida County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Culvert Project 19 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a multi-site project that involves replacement of deteriorating culverts. The objective of this culvert project is to address structural and hydraulic deficiency issues that threaten the structural integrity and longevity of the culverts. These culverts pose roadside safety hazards within the clear zone that need to be addressed in order to protect motorists from those hazards. The project is located in the Towns of Marshall, Bridgewater and Florence, New York.
