Negative Declaration

Chemung County - The Town of Big Flats Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update and Zoning Code and Map Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a Comprehensive Plan Update and adoption of zoning code and map revisions for the Town of Big Flats. The project is located throughout the Town of Big Flats, New York.

Orleans County - The Town of Barre Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No.1 of 2021 , Wind Energy Facilities Law of the Town of Barre will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendment and restatement of Article 11 of the Town of Barre Zoning Laws and Local Law No. 2 of 2007 concerning the regulation of wind energy conversion systems to add definitions for Non-Participating Structures and Participant Structures, revise application content and review requirements, changes to standards involving setbacks, turbine height, noise levels , shadow flicker, and construction hours, additional requirements for aircraft detection lighting, waivers for setbacks, noise levels and shadow flicker for participating properties, additional decommissioning requirements, amendment to standards for wind measurement towers, changes to penalties for violations of the Local Law, and technical corrections. This is an Unlisted Action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act, however it was treated as a Type I Action for the purpose of environmental review. The project is located throughout the Town of Barre, New York.

Seneca County - The Town of Fayette Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Fayette Water District No. 8 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of 35,000 linear foot of 12 inch diameter water main and 41,100 linear foot of 8 inch water main and will include a master meter, booster pump station, main line isolation valves, and fire hydrant assemblies. The water mains will be installed along Leader Road from NYS Route 96A to NYS Route 414 (Fayette Water District 5), NYS Route 96A from Leader Road to Kime Road, Kime Road from NYS Route 96A to East Lake Road, East Lake Road from NYS Route 96A to Lerch Road, Lerch Road from East Lake Road to NYS Route 96A, MacDougal Road from Leader Road to Fayette Water District No. 5, Yost Road from Leader Road to Fayette Water District No. 5 and Poormon Road from Yost Road to Fayette Water District No. 5, in the Town of Fayette, New York.
