Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Greece Board of Zoning Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 3115 and 3171 Ridgeway Avenue will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a request by the Applicant for a special use permit for the proposed installation and operation of two solar photovoltaic facilities to be interconnected to the Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) electrical grid. The project will occupy approximately 58 acres of a 130 ± acre parcel. The solar facility will have a total generation capacity of not more than 7.48 MW AC, as per the interconnection agreements with the Utility company. Energy generated will be distributed to the Utility for daily use by the Utility's customers. The proposed project will consist of approximately 22,300 panel modules affixed to 892 strings (racks). The racking units will track the sun from east to west and will have a height of fifteen (15) foot from the adjacent grade at maximum tilt. The installation of the facility requires very minimal grading. Any proposed grading is needed to meet the Town of Greece stormwater requirements. The project is located at 3115 and 3171 Ridgeway Avenue (aka 457 Elmgrove Road) in the Town of Greece, New York.
