The action involves the amendment of the Town of Queensbury Zoning Law to define the use "Tree Service/Landscape Company" and add it as a permitted by Special Use Permit in the Rural Residential 3 Acre and Rural Residential 5 Acre zoning districts. The project is located throughout the Town of Queensbury, New York.

Positive Declaration

Fulton County - The Town of Johnstown Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cipriani Energy Group Special Permit for Solar Farm Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal by Cipriani Energy Group to purchase approximately 26 ± acres from Theodore Jennings' 28.8 ± acre parcel along NYS Route 67 in the Town of Johnstown, New York. Cipriani intends to construct a 5 megawatt ground-mounted solar array system that will be situated adjacent to the Fulton County Airport. One of the two existing access driveway will be upgraded to provide access to the Solar Farm.
