Negative Declaration

Columbia County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bridge Maintenance by Contract will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the maintenance/rehabilitation work on the following bridges:

  • BIN l 005190- Route 9 over Clove Creek, Philipstown, Putnam County, New York.
  • BIN 1005220- Route 9 over Wappinger Lake, Poughkeepsie and Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York.
  • BIN 1041050- Route 212 over Sawkill Creek, Woodstock, Ulster County, New York.
  • BIN 5 5 02509- Taconic State Parkway (TSP) over Taghkanic Creek, Taghkanic, Columbia County, New York.

Delaware County - The Town of Colchester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Downsville Water District Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a new 5,000 gallon Raw Storage Tank with an overflow piping, a new Building for the new booster Pumps and Cartridge Filters, Reservoir and new Tank level control, new flow metering system, relocation of existing Chemical feed system and associated piping, and installation of water meters. The project is located on Tub Mill Road in the Town of Colchester, New York.

Greene County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ashland Quarry will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the continued operation and modification of a 59.1 acre Life-of-Mine (LOM) sand, gravel and bluestone mine for which a pervious permit has been issues. A total of 52.3 acres are authorized to be affected during this permit term. Drilling, blasting, crushing and screening are authorized at this mine. The project is located on NYS Route 23 in the Town of Ashland, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Town of Schodack, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ali Dog Retreat and Related Timber Harvesting will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to construct a 1,500 square foot dog kennel building as well as required septic and well, a crucher run driveway, asphalt parking area ·and a two -acre dog yard and a 12 acre dog training field and associated removal of trees and for the operation of a dog training facility that will kennel dogs at the facility. The project is located on a site that is 67 .41 acres and the majority of the site is woodlands with about two aces of meadows. After the removal of trees to facilitate dog training areas and the aforementioned infrastructure, post-construction the site will still be mostly wooded with it being projected that 49.65 acres to be meadows. The project site is currently zoned Residential Agricultural ( RA ). The project is located in the Town of Schodack, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Town of East Greenbush Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed B-2 Zoning Text Amendment to allow Civic; Religious Facility Uses will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an amendment to the existing B-2 Zoning and the Town's Comprehensive Zoning Law (CZL) to include Civic; religious facility uses as permitted uses in the B-2 zone. Civic; religious facility uses are not currently a permitted use in the B-2 zone. The proposed amendment would modify the B-2 zone Permitted Uses Section 2.7.3.B and other relevant portions of the CZL. The proposed action would modify the zoning for the B-2 zone Town wide, or approximately 110 acres of land in total. The project is located in the Town of East Greenbush, New York.
