Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Town of Westerlo Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Barnside Cell Tower Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application from AT&T to increase the height of the existing cell tower from 140 foot to 169 foot (25 foot with 4 foot antenna whip) to improve telecommunications for businesses, residents and people traveling through the area of Westerlo, NY. The project is located at 6419 NYS Route 32 in Greenville, New York.

Greene County - The Town of Coxsackie Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Coxsackie Solar will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 5 MW ground mounted solar array and associated infrastructure (perimeter fencing, temporary and permanent access roads, inverters, overhead utility poles and lines, and stormwater controls) which will result in a "take" of approximately 48.13 acres of grassland habitat for the New York State threatened Northern Harrier and the New York State Endangered Short-eared Owl, which will be off-set through a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) approved habitat mitigation plan. The project is located in the Town of Coxsackie, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Town of Schaghticoke Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Northline Drive Solar Farm SUP/Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new 4 megawatt (AC) solar energy facility located near the intersection of Northline Drive and New York State Route 40, Melrose, Town of Schaghticoke, New York. The Project will be located on a parcel measuring approximately 37.096 acres of vacant land and the Project site will cover approximately 18.4 acres of the site. The remainder of the parcel is not planned for development. The need for the Project is driven by the demand for clean energy.

Schoharie County - The Town of Wright, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 1-2021 - Regulation of Solar Energy Systems in the Town of Wright will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the implementation of a law which regulates solar energy systems within the Town of Wright. The project is located throughout the Town of Wright, New York.
